Hosting and where your data lives

The application, the database and file storage run on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany) and STRATO AG (Berlin, Germany) — both within the European Economic Area. Backups are encrypted and also stay within the EEA.

A few optional features engage a processor outside the EEA — receipt scanning and the AI assistant run via a provider in the United States, as do bot protection and visitor statistics. Which ones those are, what data they receive and which safeguards we rely on is set out in Annex 3 of the Data Processing Agreement and in article 9 of the Privacy Policy. If you do not use those features, nothing leaves the EEA.

We currently engage 11 sub-processors. The full list, with location and transfer basis, is in Annex 3 of the Data Processing Agreement.

Complaints and supervision

Complaints about the service can be sent to hello@bravik.nl; complaints about the processing of personal data to info@studioprimary.com. If we cannot resolve it together, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Disputes about the agreement are submitted to the Rechtbank Oost-Brabant, sitting in Eindhoven.
